Accelerated Tool & Engineering offers a keyway and spline cutting service using using our Wire EDM process.
Wire EDM for keyway and spline cutting can outperform traditional methods such as broaching or milling. The ease of setup and flexibility of cutting profile for this process makes it ideally suited to lower volume parts for which purchasing and setting up dedicated tooling is not economical.
Our modern Fanuc Robocut α-C600iC has a large cutting area of 600x400mm, maximum workpeice size of 1050x820mm and a maximum height of 310mm.
